Our School Programme is designed to provide both inspiration and direction to international students. At Avernus Education we work in collaboration with students, parents, and their school teachers to help our young learners in their educational pathway, no matter what phase of their journey they are currently in. We provide clarity and guidance to students in order to help them identify a goal, to support them in decision making, to develop a road map of where they are heading in the future, and above all to foster and further their passion. Our team would welcome the opportunity to come to your school and introduce ourselves in person to your students, parents, and staff.

We inspire students to discover a passion, further their ambitions, and guide them on their pathway. We provide students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to excel in their studies and achieve their academic goals.

Inspiring students for a competitive advantage

Our specially crafted programme can be shaped to the needs of any school and student body. Whether providing cohort sessions to increase awareness and exposure, individualised or group mentorship for subject exploration and career pathways, or a range of events, workshops, lectures and tutorials to prepare your students for success beyond the classroom and when applying to UK Universities.

Sessions are delivered in person and online by current leading UK university tutors and mentors who have successfully navigated the application process themselves. They act as perfect role models, powerful sources of inspiration, and individuals to whom younger students can directly relate.

A Track Record of Success

All programmes and timetables are personalised to the school's requirements for length and content (for example preference for more Oxbridge/G5 focus vs. a more holistic skills focus). Schools can engage with all 5 phases of the programme, or opt for specific aspects of it. We will be able to offer bespoke services tailored to the school's requirement in order to best assist students in getting into their first-choice university. Where possible, programmes are launched in person, with a powerful and comprehensive supporting online provision.

University Application Mentorship

We partner with schools to provide tailor-made support

Gaining acceptance to a UK university has become incredibly competitive. In order to set students apart from the competition, it is essential to start preparing early, whilst fostering a genuine passion for academia. This is where Avernus Education can help. We inspire, support and assist students to ensure that they are accepted into their first-choice University, wherever that might be. From seminars to group workshops to individual support, we provide a 360 degree mentorship package for schools that includes a range of services to help students stand out from the competition and inspire them to identify a future career path.

Oxbridge Inspire
We work with schools to provide bespoke Oxbridge Inspire courses for aspiring Cambridge and Oxford applicants.

1 Day Pop-Up

We offer schools a free seminar or information evening, alongside a day of workshops, small group sessions on UK universities, degree subjects and a 'marketplace' careers session with leading mentors. It is offered by our expert consultants and current students from Oxford and Cambridge, and can include 1-to-1s for your leading pupils during the day

5 Day Camp

A school-specific programme of student development. It enabled students to engage deeply with subject-experts, develop public speaking and deb, discover more about UK universities (especially Oxbridge and London) and get the edge over their competition by working with our team to begin thinking about key parts of a successful application process

Full Application Cycle

A comprehensive, 3-8 month online offering to deliver seminars and mentoring across all aspect of the UK university applications process. Online 1-to-1s with our large network of Oxbridge students lead test prep, while Personal Statements, course and college choice are also mentored by our team. We arange mock interviews, and facilitate elite application support

At Avernus Education we complement the existing provision of schools to offer an additional, exciting programme to help students make their university applications stand out from the crowd and improve their chances of winning a place. Many universities have extra requirements, including admissions tests, interviews and, in the case of the Cambridge SAQ, an additional personal statement. In order to submit a competitive application for these universities, it is necessary for students to demonstrate substantial knowledge beyond what they have learned at school at every stage of the application process. Through knowledge enhancement programmes and innovative workshops, students are taught degree level concepts by subject-specific, experienced Cambridge and Oxford tutors.
